Workbook for Step-by-Step Medical Coding 2006 Edition

This workbook to accompany Step-by-Step Medical Coding contains three types of activities/exercises for each chapter. These include: theory, abbreviated patient service and diagnosis descriptions, and original reports. Theory questions are comprised of fill-in-the-blanks, multiple choice and true or false questions. The abbreviated patient service and diagnosis descriptions are line coding exercises. The original reports exercises give students the opportunity to gain a real-world experience by coding from original source documents that have been “washed” of all confidential information.
